Darphin combines botanical intelligence and scientific innovation to enhance the power and penetration of treatments into the skin, for visible results. This is the result of a meticulous combination of ingredients of natural origin and advanced technologies. Our botanical active ingredients are selected from many varieties of plants to guarantee optimal effectiveness.

A PASSION FOR NATURAL RESOURCES, BORN IN 1958

We strive to ensure that our ingredients are responsibly sourced, meaning naturally sourced or certified organic. Our sourcing teams are working tirelessly to increase the amount of naturally-derived ingredients we use in our formulas, with the goal of reaching an average of 90% by 2025. Along with this commitment, we require all our suppliers a protocol clearly defining the expectations of our partners in terms of compliance with social and environmental criteria.

Our commitment to the planet is also reflected in key initiatives in the design of our packaging and the management of our supply chain. More than 65% of our packaging is recyclable, refillable, reusable, recycled or recoverable. Our goal is to reach 90% by 2025. Our ambition is also to source paper products responsibly whenever possible: 97% of our fibreboard is FSC certified. Finally, our manufacturing, distribution and innovation sites are landfill-free, and we have reduced our carbon dioxide emissions through a solar energy project at one of our main manufacturing sites.

Our commitment to product safety begins with the high quality of our ingredients and the application of the latest scientific advances. Our products undergo a safety review process that includes evaluation and testing of ingredients and finished products.

During the product development process, our toxicologists and safety experts assess the quality of all ingredients before they are incorporated into our products. We rely on the latest scientific advances and refer to government-provided chemical lists for information on ingredient restrictions. We comply with all legal limits on the use of ingredients, and our dedicated regulatory affairs team closely monitors changes in laws and regulations.

We uphold the highest safety standards through a trusted process reviewing the design and development of every product. We evaluate all formulas before they are released to market, which may include in vitro testing and clinical laboratory testing. We also monitor product safety performance through ongoing engagement with our customers.
